How Do I Transfer a Domain Name to Host Orlando Instructions

Getting Started:

1. Login to your current domain registrars domain name control panel and:
   1. Unlock your domain name
   2. Remove or cancel any private domain name registration settings
   3. Update your domain name contact information if needed
      1. make sure the email address is current for the admin/owner of the domain name
   4. Obtain the Authorization/EPP Code (you will need this to transfer domain to Host Orlando

Initiating Domain Name Transfer:

1. Login to your account at: https://www.hostorlando.com/account/clientarea.php
2. Click ‘Domains’
3. Click ‘Transfer Domains to Us’
4. Complete the fields/instructions on the screen

Approval Process:

After initiating the domain name transfer keep an eye out for an email from your existing domain name registrar asking you to approve the transfer. Also keep an out for an email from Host Orlando asking you to agree to our domain name terms of service.

Note: as part of the transfer process Host Orlando will add 1 year to the current domain name expiration date.
