Below is a list of optional server settings for you to choose from when setting up your email client.
The following settings all use a secure SSL connection:

Notes:
- We recommend using IMAP. See our article on IMAP -vs- POP
- Our outgoing mail servers require authentication. So when setting up the Outgoing Mail Server in your email client, select the ‘Use Authentication’ option and enter your full email address as the username and the email account password for the password. The recommended method for sending mail today is to use PLAIN/PASSWORD authentication over an SSL or TLS connection. Do not select CRAM-MD5. The industry as a whole has been migrated away from CRAM-MD5.
We recommend the following mail server settings:
Use the following mail server settings when configuring your email client (Outlook, etc…)
Incoming Mail Server:
Protocol: IMAP
Server Name: secure.emailsrvr.com
Port: 993
SSL: Yes – make sure you check the use SSL option in your email client
Note: After selecting SSL make sure the port number doesn’t change you want the port number to be 993
Outgoing Mail Server:
Protocol: SMTP
Server Name: secure.emailsrvr.com
Port: 465
SSL: Yes – make sure you check the use SSL option in your email client
Notes:
When prompted for the username make sure you enter the full email address as the username. Also, passwords are case sensitive.
For the outgoing mail server – our outgoing mail servers require authentication. So when setting up the Outgoing Mail Server in your email client, select the ‘Use Authentication’ option and enter your full email address as the username and the email account password for the password. If you don’t enable ‘Use Authentication’ you won’t be able to send mail.
